Mediamix Promotions Offering Promotional Products Australia Wide
Mediamix Promotions offers the best in Promotional Products Australia wide to clients large and small. In mid 2017 Chris Lethbridge of Mediamix Promotions contacted us in regards to his new business website which was being worked on. To our happiness the new Promotional Products website was being built in WordPress and he was looking to ensure that he had the Onsite SEO / OnPage SEO correct before launching the website.
Massive Keyword Research Project!
We had never completed keyword research to this scale before, there were literally thousands of different searches in total. Their product offering is comprised of many categories of Promotional Items, each category having many searches per month for many different phrases which are all similar.
Once our SEO Strategy Planning was complete we had planned their entire website structure, keywords for every single page of the website, collected a huge list of search phrases and compiled altogether into one report on Google sheets.
Chris Lethbridge was not expecting such a large amount of data and keywords for his business website.
Working the Onsite SEO
Once the planning was complete we edited every single page on the website, page by page, implementing the plan we had created. We changed the web page URLs, headings, added 80% more content and made sure the site was loading at the optimal speed.
We then compiled 4 new promotional products based blog articles for the website each one being a minimum of 1000 words for the sake of maximum authority. We also did the on page SEO for each blog article to ensure they had the best chance of ranking in the future.
Ranking for Geographical Locations
Finally, we created a structure for the sake of geographical rankings in order to give Mediamix the best possible chance of geographical location ranking for ‘Promotional Products’ as a keyword in each city or state of Australia. For example “Promotional Products Sydney” is one of those search phrases which gets too many searches per month to ignore.
We achieve great geographical success by creating a Google business listing as a business address or a virtual address in each city that we wish to rank for. Once the Google business listing is established we then go about creating citations.
Creating citations is a very important part of getting local SEO success. We go on to business directories and make sure that our clients business name, business address and business phone number are listed along with a website link if the business directory permits us.
Before we perform citations, we will do a citation audit. One of the worst things that can happen in the area of geographical search engine optimisation is finding out that there is a mixture of different names, different addresses, and different phone numbers listed on business directories all around the world. This will confuse the search engines and completely trump your geographical search engine authority.
Blogging is all about adding constant Content
In regards to blogging, the idea was set in motion that Mediamix should be blogging 2-4 times per month with a minimum 1000 words per blog article for the sake of onsite authority.
The fact is that if you want to be an authority in the search engines you need to keep releasing content which is relevant to your target client. If your content is either poor quality or slightly irrelevant the website visitors to land on it will end up clicking the back button in their browser within the first 15 seconds and the search engine that they arrived on your site from will see this as a no vote for your content.
The end result of these no votes is less authority in the search engines so you need to make sure that your content is high-quality, interesting and doesn’t contain grammar or spelling errors. As well as this, the more you talk about, you will have extra keywords throughout your website which will give you more of a chance of ranking for more search phrases in your business area.
OffSite Authority is the final boost!
The next stretch of our SEO journey is to get as many high-quality backlinks from domains with a domain authority of 20, 30 or 40 for the sake of boosting the websites off-site authority. We achieve this by blog outreach, where we go and find the right blogs who are willing to accept our good quality articles in order to benefit their readers and are also willing to give us a back link to our website.
These guest posts (or as the industry calls it guest blogging) need to be a minimum of 1000 words of high quality information that will be of benefit to whoever reads them, they will be key worded with the right search phrases and the link back to our client site will also be an important keyword search which will be sourced from our original SEO plan.
Over the next 6 to 12 months we will be adding constant high-quality client relevant content to the Mediamix blog, sourcing higher authority backlinks for their domain authority and watching as their website swims up the page towards the number one position in the most popular search engines for all of the keywords that we planned.
A powerful part of this future plan is watching on a regular basis to see what the search engines are doing and how the ranking position is changing for each one of our targeted keywords. We use the best industry tools in order to track this information with the best accuracy and then we adjust our SEO campaigns according to the data we collect.
